Our Intensive Course is an excellent opportunity for those who would like to master English within a short period of time.

Toms’ House alsooffers the Unique Author’s Program in Business English (Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels) English + Psychology.

The program includes:

1. 10 selected lessons (30 academic hours)

+ intensive non-traditional grammar presentation + speaking practice + interactive activity (2 or 3 classes per week)

2. Non-stop Conversational Business English. Immersion Training.

+ psychological games and activities (6-9 academic hours)

3. The author’s album with grammar tables including tasks and investigating reading

Program

1. The selected lessons are designed for intensive comprehension of grammar system based on training activities, tests, and investigating reading. The lessons are developed matching students’ needs and interest at Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels.

This course is the result of the author’s 30 year experience in teaching both English and Practical psychology. Lexical and conversational skills are built on interactive, associative and creative activities (role-plays such as interview, conflict settlement, press-conferences, psychodramas, etc.) within specially chosen themes (leadership, effective presentation, team-building, disclosure of potential abilities and others). The program is enclosed.

2. Non-stop Business English Immersion training.

After 6-9 academic hours of specially organized communication our students begin to speak and think in English. Throughout the entire training process our students enjoy speaking English.

The training includes:

• associative games
• brainstorming
• lexical, logical and grammar activities
• elements of psychodrama
• role-plays (difficult situations/negotiations/discussions)
• possibility of solving professional and personal problems

Classes can be conducted within 1-2 days for 6-9 academic hours each, including 2 or 3 coffee-breaks.

3. The Grammar album is a teaching material for those who appreciate systematic approach to learning English. Nonstandard tasks and tests, detective work with grammar encourage students study English. According to our students’ feedbacks this grammar album helps them understand and learn grammar constructions. The Album is especially effective for those who are studying English on their own, taking training or preparing for International exams (CAE, IELTS, TOEFL)

The teacher

Natalia Dikun is an English teacher and professional psychologist, the author of oral and written presentations, training programs at international conferences in Germany, Israel, Ukraine and Australia. Natalia graduated from York University (Great Britain). She is the author of methodological and training books for teachers and learners of General and Business English.
